SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach sassa status Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The support issue produced for intervention activities a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
